Should you consider following a 2 week diet plan

There are quite a few articles on the internet suggesting that to lose weight, all one has to do is follow a simple plan. And on top of that, it should take you as little as two weeks. That’s quite impossible when you really think about it, right? Well, in all fairness, one cannot discredit the fact that something as silly as this could still lead to living healthier. So if you ever see an article along the lines of “2 week diet plan” or similar, don’t immediately think of it as a scam. Instead, you should just spend some time reading about the subject and making decision for yourself after you familiarize yourself with the subject.

But the fact that people get hooked on this kind of thing is not that big of a surprise. Good looks are part of our modern society, and everybody tries to do their best in order to exclude themselves from the grey mass that is the contemporary society. So if there is a solution, which takes very little time, one has to not think too much about it and go for it.

Reality, though, is a bit different than one might expect. For one thing, you shouldn’t expect to see any noticeable results after a couple of weeks. It takes months, even years until you can say that you are a new person. In terms of looks, that is. And if you happen to be in a group which has only a little bit of extra weight, then losing it will become even harder. As your ratio of fat mass to lean mass comes closer to 1:1, the rate at which the fat disappears slows down, until you have to take an extra mile.

Everybody knows that there are two ways to lose weight. You either start to eat properly, or spend hours in the gym. The preferences vary from person to person, and it is entirely up to them which route to take. Some would argue that cutting junk food is harder than actually committing yourself to working out. And there is truth in that. After all, junk food is an addiction, and addicts have it difficult when it comes to getting rid of their bad habits. But if you can make exercises part of your every day thing, then you will be addicted in a positive way. And then, even a little bit of fast food won’t be that much of an issue.

All in all, a 2 week diet plan should not be something to seriously consider. Nevertheless, it could lead you to start having a healthier life, and who knows, you could end up moving others to this kind of life as well.
